Who Were They? is fiction but captures may of the truths of today’s culture. As the story starts, God has already removed the Christians from the earth as prophesied in the Bible. This happens only after the “Reformers” have taken over the schools, government and finally the judicial system. Christianity has become the #1 enemy of the people. Christians around the world have gone underground, are in prisons or have been eliminated as undesirables.

Carter is appointed to head up a team to investigate. He travels the country looking for evidence to explain how the Christians suddenly disappeared. In the meantime, the earth seems to have turned angry.  Numerous natural disasters make it a time of great tribulation for the human race. Carter then meets James who tells him the two events are related.
